More scams abounding, this time, scammers purporting to be from Verizon or Netflix calling from a local prefix, saying that account information is needed for validation purposes or service would be suspended. One law enforcement officer received such a call and hung up, his service was not suspended.
At least one Blair area resident has also received text messages asking for Netflix information.
You’re advised to not respond to these type of messages, if you have a question about your accounts, it’s best to contact that business directly.
