Blair City Council to consider parking, golf cart, and zoning changes tonight.
How would golf carts do on Blair city streets? Would it be an added concern to the high volume traffic that includes semis, grain and livestock trucks? What would the parameters of golf cart use be? That discussion on altering existing code to allow for the use of golf carts on city streets is on the agenda for the Blair City Council tonight. ATV’s are already permitted, but at the last council meeting, a request to include golf carts was made.
Also in store for council member’s consideration – changes regarding parking on public right of way, and changing the city’s zoning regarding storage units in Office Park District designated areas.
That meeting tonight is in city council chambers, 218 South 16th street at 7pm.
