HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

The 2026 Historic Picture Calendar produced by the Blair Historic Preservation Alliance and the Washington County Museum this year is featuring Historic Churches in our area. You can pick up your calendar at the Washington County Community Foundation Office – the cost is 15 dollars.

The Blair Fine Arts Booster’s are selling the 2026 Discount Card which offers discounts at area businesses. That card is available for 20 dollars – proceeds to benefit the Blair High School and Middle Schools. Go online to BlairFAB.square.site for details.

The Jeanette Hunt Animal Shelter is seeking donations of cat litter and scoops, kitten milk replacement, long lasting bones, cleaning supplies and office supplies such as paper and postage stamps. You can see more on the shelter’s social media.

The Washington County Recycling Association is encouraging volunteers, both individual and organizations to sign up for Saturday recycling from 8am til noon, and are working on filling up the 2026 calendar.
