Drunk Drivers Keep Deputies Busy

A traffic stop by Washington County deputies shortly after midnight early this morning ends in the arrest of a 29 year old man for a warrant from Minnesota.


Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s activity summary for the weekend: a 61 year old male arrested yesterday afternoon for drunk driving after multiple calls were received by dispatchers of a reckless driver running others off the road.


Another traffic stop, this time at County Roads P-40 and P-51 ends in the arrest of a 47 year old male for driving under suspension.


A 60 year old male was arrested for drunk driving after parking in the middle of the 17 thousand block of County Road 4 .


A 31 year old male arrested for drunk driving after a one vehicle accident at County Roads P-33 and P-14.


A 28 year old male was arrested for assault and criminal mischief in the 10 thousand block of Riverside Drive.


A car- deer collision on Highway 133 resulted in injuries Friday evening.


Washington County deputies also investigated a theft in Herman and an ATV accident at County Roads 28 and 39 in which a 15 year old male was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.


Additionally, deputies helped a motorist with an overheated vehicle and provided water to an elderly motorist while awaiting a tow truck at County roads 34 and 49.
