Several thefts are on the Harrison County Sheriff’s activity summary for March 8th through the 15th – including a vehicle near 330th street in which the occupants were reported to be scrapping metals from a property. Two people were arrested in that incident and another fled on foot.
A Missouri Valley woman was arrested for trespassing and drug related charges, a Blair man arrested for trespassing, and a warrant issued for a Missouri Valley man for trespassing in that incident.
Also on Sheriff Brandon Doiel’s report, a traffic stop on I-29 found the driver had a suspended license, the K9 officer alerted to drugs – A Sioux City man was arrested for drug and traffic violations.
Among the many other matters on the Harrison County Sheriff’s activity summary, a resident on Overton Avenue reported a phone call from someone purporting to be with the Border Patrol who had questions regarding the delivery of an item. The intended victim of the scam did not give out personal information.
