Heatwave Begins to Subside

The US National Weather Service Omaha/Valley Nebraska reported that today is the last day of dangerous heat. But this could bring the threat of storms into the overnight. Today the heat index could be in the 105 to 118 degree F range. Over the weekend, the heat index reached 118. A reminder to stay in the shade, and stay hydrated. The next few days will continue to be warm but the anticipated heat index will stay in the mid to upper 90s.
