75 year old Alan Engelke of Blair passed away Saturday. He is survived by his wife, Elaine, Daughters Lori Wolff, Jill Jensen and Peggy Garthright, along with Frank Wolff, Emma Wolff, Lance Jensen and brother in law Roger Johnson. Graveside service is this coming Thursday, 11am at the Blair Cemetery.
78 year old William Biffar died January 31st. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, his children Keith, Amy Telford and Kent, his daughter in law Joy, along with their families, his sisters Brenda Biffar and Laural Method. A Celebration of Life is this Sunday, February 13th at George’s Tavern, 114 North 16th in Blair from 2 to 4pm.

80 year old Mary Bowen King of Tekamah died February 4th. She was a librarian at the Tekamah Public Library for many years. She is survived by her sons Rick, Andrew and Trenton along with their spouses and other family members. The funeral is Monday, February 21st, 10:30 at First Presbyterian Church in Tekamah.

86 year old Billy Claborn, Sr, born in Blair, passed away February 4th. He owned Jackson Home Appliance. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Ann, sons Billy Jr, Jeff and Jon, along with their spouses and families, as well as his sister Elouise Green and brother in law Kenny Petersen. Visitation is tomorrow, 5 to 7pm at Saint Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Omaha. The memorial service will be Thursday, 10 a.m. also at Saint Andrews.
