93 year old Jack Jensen of Blair passed away Wednesday. Among his many roles of public service, Jensen was a Washington County Supervisor and involved in state government. He is survived by his wife, Opal, children Jacqueline Dawson, Mark Jensen and their spouses and children, his sister Edith Rosenbaum and other family members. Visitation is tomorrow 5 to 8pm at Campbell Aman, the funeral is Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Orum at 10:30.
95 year old Andrew Hansen of Blair passed away Tuesday. He was the former superintendent of schools for Fort Calhoun among other districts. He is survived by his children, Sharon Davis, David and Michael Hansen and their spouses and children. Visitation is this evening, 6-8 pm at Campbell Aman, the funeral is tomorrow morning, January 28th, 10:30 at First Lutheran Church in Blair.

89 year old Ferdy Mefford of Missouri Valley died January 19th, he was the former elementary school principal. He is survived by his wife Ruth, sons Daniel and Stephen Mefford, daughter in law Kathy Mefford, siblings Judy Skrivan, Linda Huttman Jack Mefford and other family members. Visitation is tomorrow, 5-7pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church, the funeral service is Saturday at 10:30, also at St. Paul in Mo Valley.
