Washington County Sheriff's Summary 07.23.21
A theft in Herman was reported to the Washington County Sheriff’s office at three a.m. this morning.
Also on the activity summary released this morning, a two vehicle accident in the ten thousand block of County Road 27, A one vehicle accident on Highway 133. A vehicle was stolen from the 4100 block of County Road P-38 Wednesday and later recovered in Pottawattamie County. Stolen plates were located near the victim’s driveway.
Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, a driver picked up a young woman on an internet based date – she did not have identification and gave a false name. She was identified as a juvenile and her parents were contacted.
A theft by an employee ends up in a suspect that had three warrants and had escaped from a facility four years ago. Those are just a few of the matters dealt with this past week by the Washington County Sheriff’s office.
