A lunar eclipse is expected early Friday morning. Around 1 am Friday, the moon will start appearing red, the maximum coverage of the moon’s surface will be around 3 a.m. This will be the longest eclipse since the year 1440, and will not reoccur, length wise, until February of 2669.
