The Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue reported a busy week from July 23rd through the 29th. There were 26 calls to service in that time frame. Heat stroke, multiple car accidents and 8 events that were assisted with or assisting other departments including the Blair Police Department, Kennard Fire Rescue, and the Herman Fire Department. The Washington County Fair will be hosting a new area for families with young children. The Kids Barn will be available Saturday through Tuesday of the Fair. There will be farmer’s market area, corn pit with tractors and truck toys, barn and farm animals, a tractor and trike track.
