The Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue reported that so far this week that Tuesday, June 9th was the busy day of the week with 4 calls for service, including 2 medical calls and 2 fire related calls. The house fire in Herman brought together several area departments, including Herman, Tekamah Fire and Rescue Department, Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue, Blair, and Kennard Fire Rescue, while Bennington Fire & Rescue provided EMS standby coverage at our station while crews were commit
