A Blair area family donated over 180 bales of hay to help the ranchers and farmers in Western Nebraska, but needed a way to get the hay out there. Staff from the City of Blair helped load the hay and members of the Blair Street Department are transporting the feed - grazing areas are scorched and livestock are severely short on food. 91 year old Dale “Lefty” Robinson of Blair passed away March 13th. He is survived by his wife, Mary, children Roxanne Hixson, Kevin Robinson, Todd and Mark Robinson and their Families. Services are currently Pending at Campbell Aman 75 year old Fred Blom Jr., of Missouri Valley, passed away March 11th. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, daughters Amy Bak and Wendy Rand and their children. Visitation is Sunday, March 29th from 2 to 4 pm, the funeral service will start at 4pm

If you hear a buzzing sound, it’s not a swarm of bees. The City of Blair says JEO Consulting is using a drone to photograph the city – the material collected from this will be used to update the City’s GIS Mapping system.      The photos are strictly for mapping and infrastructure planning purposes.
