ANOTHER OFFICIAL CANDIDATE FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF! Two candidates for Washington County Sheriff - Brian Beckman and Kevin Willis, earlier this week, filed official candidacy papers with the County Clerk's office. Just moments ago, the third candidate, Mitch Robinson, filed his official candidacy papers with the clerk's office. Current sheriff, Mike Robinson announced several months ago that he would not run for sheriff again.

56 year old Patrick West, Junior of Missouri Valley passed away January 2nd. He was a Captain of Security with Douglas County Corrections and helped found the DCDC Honor Guard.
