CHOKING BABY, POSSIBLE STROKE ON THE BLAIR VFD SUMMARY     Responses to six calls for help yesterday by the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Those calls include a possible stroke, two calls for assisting a party up, a person having difficulty breathing, a person injured in a fall, and a rescue call for an infant choking.

The first confirmed case of Measles in Nebraska has been reported in Platte County – an unvaccinated child who recently travelled to Arizona. Those who may have visited the Shell Creek Baptist Church in Columbus on Christmas Eve, the Columbus Community Emergency Department on December 29th.
