CALLS TO THE BLAIR VFD OVER THE WEEKEND: Calls to the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department over the weekend include a possible stroke, chest pain, a seizure, a person having difficulty breathing, and among other calls, three separate incidents of people injured in falls and two calls for automatic fire detection signals.

TRAILER OF TOILET PAPER ON FIRE THURSDAY MORNING
Sirens sounded this morning for volunteer firefighters from Blair and Fort Calhoun to put out a semi-trailer on fire at the Dollar General Distribution center. That fire trailer full of paper goods was extinguished, no injures were indicated. Law enforcement provided traffic control for the incident.

INJURIES, INTERIOR SMOKE ON BLAIR VFD SUMMARY Responding to four calls for help is on the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department’s summary for Tuesday, February 10th. At 8:32 am, the Blair volunteers provided mutual aid to Kennard Fire and Rescue for smoke in a building. At 12:19 pm, a rescue call for a medical nature unknown situation.
