WEEKEND ACTIVITY SUMMARY FOR BLAIR VFD Twelve Calls to the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department over this past weekend include smoke in a building Friday morning – Kennard crews provided mutual aide, but later was cancelled. Two calls for difficulty breathing, two medical nature unknown calls, a vehicle fire, knee pain, two calls for sick people, and a call for a person injured in a fall. The Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue department made 71 medical calls

CALLS TO THE BLAIR VFD OVER THE WEEKEND: Calls to the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department over the weekend include a possible stroke, chest pain, a seizure, a person having difficulty breathing, and among other calls, three separate incidents of people injured in falls and two calls for automatic fire detection signals.

TRAILER OF TOILET PAPER ON FIRE THURSDAY MORNING
Sirens sounded this morning for volunteer firefighters from Blair and Fort Calhoun to put out a semi-trailer on fire at the Dollar General Distribution center. That fire trailer full of paper goods was extinguished, no injures were indicated. Law enforcement provided traffic control for the incident.
