Electronic citation and electronic crash equipment will be coming soon to the Blair Police Department.     The Nebraska Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Office provided over twelve hundred dollars for the equipment.    The equipment will help the department to better track citation and crash information.

The Blair Police Department recognized three officers for their outstanding contributions to the department and the community. Those being honored – Officer Austin Peck, Officer Bob Leehy and Officer Jacob Flynn.     Peck and Flynn assisted the Blair Fire Department during a shift with multiple emergency calls by providing medical aid.      Leehy stopped traffic and helped a visually impaired resident safely cross a busy intersection.     Flynn was also recognized for creatin

CAR CRASH, INJURY FROM FALL ON BLAIR VFD SUMMARY Calls to the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department Thursday include providing mutual aide to Kennard Fire and Rescue for a car accident just after 6am – and a rescue call for a person injured in a fall shortly after 6pm. 12 members of the Blair department responded.
