The Washington County Sheriff reported 55 events on the E-patrol report for May 25th – 29th. On the report were 4 warrant arrests, 2 reports of dog bites, a child abuse report, road buckle report, airplane crash investigation, multiple traffic hazards to be removed, multiple motorist assists, several public advisement, business and property checks. At approximately 11:34 AM yesterday, first responders agencies were dispatched to the south side of the Blair Executive Airport Following reports of a small airplane crash with unknown injuries. Upon arrival, first responders located a single-engine aircraft in a field south of the runway. The aircraft had one occupant, who was not injured int eh incident but was evaluated on the scene by EMS personnel. The cause of the incident remains under investigation by the Blair Police

The Washington County Sheriffs office reported 46 items on their contact report for last week May 18 – 22. On the report most issues were business or school checks, an arrest for DUI and another arrest for Driving under Revocation, multiple Fire and Rescue assists and one contact with Minta Saunders arrested for Saunders, Douglas and Burt County Warrants, Possession Controlled Substance, Criminal Impersonation and Obstruction.
