RAND CENTER CHANGES HANDS
The City of Missouri Valley is announcing the acquisition of the Rand Community Center. The center’s board gifted the center to the City effective January 2nd. Under the city’s oversight, the Rand Center will continue to offer programs for seniors, including the daily coffee group and weekly and monthly activities. The Rand center will continue in providing space for Red Cross Blood drives, elections and among other activities, as an emergency shelter for Harrison County. Cit

MO VALLEY CITY GOVERNMENT MEMBERS SWORN IN
New members of the Missouri Valley City Council were sworn in at the most recent meeting – Russ Meadows and Christopher Gilpin, Mayor Roger Marshall and Fire Chief Angel Smiley. Also at that meeting, Jack Gaukel was hired as a certified officer of the Missouri Valley Police Department. Phyllis Henrich was introduced as the new Library Director.
