City of Missouri Valley reports an issue with the water bill this month. As you may know, the city had a software update at the end of April. This update affected 77 customers whose information was not transferred over to the new software. These 77 people didn't receive a bill, can't log on to the portal, and/or can't pay online or in person. A special meeting of the Missouri Valley City Council is today at 11am in the City Hall Conference Room. The council is meeting with Schemmer And Associates and Rogge General Contractors for an update on the Fire Hall Apparatus Bay Construction and a discussion on the gear dryer and discuss reasons for a change order on that equipment.

The City of Missouri Valley is announcing the acquisition of the Rand Community Center. The center’s board gifted the center to the City effective January 2nd. Under the city’s oversight, the Rand Center will continue to offer programs for seniors, including the daily coffee group and weekly and monthly activities.
