UNSAFE DRIVERS, STRANDED HUNTERS ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT FOR THE WEEKEND Three drunk driving arrests and one arrest for driving while suspended are on the Washington County Sheriff’s activity summary for the weekend, as well as helping a group of hunters that were stranded by the Elkhorn River Bank after a boat malfunction. ANOTHER OFFICIAL CANDIDATE FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF!      Two candidates for Washington County Sheriff - Brian Beckman and Kevin Willis, earlier this week, filed official candidacy papers with the County Clerk's office. Just moments ago, the third candidate, Mitch Robinson, filed his official candidacy papers with the clerk's office. Current sheriff, Mike Robinson announced several months ago that he would not run for sheriff again.
