HAY BALES CAUSING TRAFFIC PROBLEMS ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S REPORT



A traffic accident yesterday in Fort Calhoun is on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for June 19th through this morning. Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, a car fire in the 13 thousand block of Novak Lane – handled by Kennard Fire. Large Hay bales were blocking the vision of southbound drivers at County Roads 14 and 25 – deputies pointed this out to the farmer who left them there. Criminal Mischief in the 3600 block of Highway 133 with illegal dumping. Dead deer in roadways were found at County Road p-7 and highway 30, and at Highway 75 and county road p-40. Deputies also arrested a 19 year old on Highway 133 early this morning on a Douglas County Warrant.
