DRUNK DRIVING AND FIRES ON WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY


Arrests on the Washington County Sheriff's summary just released this morning include a man for his fourth drunk driving offense, obstruction, resisting arrest and other charges after a foot pursuit in Blair in the early hours yesterday. A man on Highway 133 southbound displayed a firearm at another driver. A 41 year old was arrested for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Another man arrested for drunk driving, speeding and a concealed carry weapon violation on Highway 75 and Oak Valley Lane.

Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report, deputies provided traffic control for grass fires in the 24 thousand block of County Road 18 and a house fire in the 26 thousand block of County Road 16. Just a few minutes before that blaze, a brush fire at County Road P31 and 16 yesterday.


Brush fires Saturday include several west of Herman handled by Herman and Blair Volunteer Fire Departments, another grass fire at county roads P31 and P13.

Thefts were reported in the 16 thousand block of County Road 16 and another in Arlington.

Those are just a few of the matters handled over the weekend by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
