AREA FIRST RESPONDERS HANDLE MENTAL HEALTH EPISODE - AVOIDING BLOODSHED
A little after noon today, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to check on the well being of a man suffering from a mental health episode in the 18 hundred block of County Road P-4.     When deputies arrived, they observed a man in body armor and armed with an assault rifle.    The Washington County Tactical Team and negotiators attempted to talk to the man. Blair Fire Department Summary
BLAIR VFD SUMMARY FOR THE WEEKEND!    The Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department responded to ten calls from Friday, October 24th through Sunday the 26th. Those included an automatic fire detection signal, two medical nature unknown calls, two syncope episode calls, a dog bite, an injury from a fall, a Dumpster fire Saturday afternoon handled by Kennard crews around 4pm. That fire rekindled at 6:14pm and was dealt with by Blair’s crews.
