Rep. Don Bacon announced that Eppley Airfield has secured a $10 million FY26 Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) for reconstructing 35,000 square feet of the existing terminal, including the concourse and security checkpoint, arrival/departure gates, and international gates that have reached the end of their useful lives. 53 year old Nebraska Native Ben Sasse, who served as representative for Nebraska in the US Senate from 2015 to 2023, relayed to friends, supporters and members of the media, that he has been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer and it is terminal.    His most recent seat – president of the University of Florida. He also was president of Midland University in Fremont and was involved at the former Dana College before running for office.

76 year old Wayne Oloff of Blair passed away December 20th. He is survived by his wife, Beth, children Matthew Oloff and Jennifer Mann, his brothers James, Keith and Lyle and their families.
