EPPLEY AMONG AREA AIRPORTS TO RECEIVE GRANT FUNDS

Rep. Don Bacon announced that Eppley Airfield has secured a $10 million FY26 Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) for reconstructing 35,000 square feet of the existing terminal, including the concourse and security checkpoint, arrival/departure gates, and international gates that have reached the end of their useful lives. This grant funds the final phase, which consists of construction of the pedestrian walkway.

Rep. Bacon also announced an Airport Improvement Program grant for the Wahoo Municipal Airport of $382,000 to construct a new 11,000 square foot sponsor-owned hangar for aircraft storage/maintenance to assist the airport to be as self-sustaining as possible by generating revenue.
