WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S SUMMARY FOR THE WEEKEND A situation in the early hours Friday – the Washington County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a woman at 2:02am, in which the driver told officers that her three children, all under the age of 7 had been home along for approximately 8 hours. GRANT FUNDED EQUIPMENT TO HELP BLAIR POLICE DEPARTMENT
Electronic citation and electronic crash equipment will be coming soon to the Blair Police Department. The Nebraska Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Office provided over twelve hundred dollars for the equipment. The equipment will help the department to better track citation and crash information.

ABOVE AND BEYOND..
The Blair Police Department recognized three officers for their outstanding contributions to the department and the community. Those being honored – Officer Austin Peck, Officer Bob Leehy and Officer Jacob Flynn. Peck and Flynn assisted the Blair Fire Department during a shift with multiple emergency calls by providing medical aid.
