(image credit City of Blair) The City of Blair reminds us school buses are beginning to travel area streets again, making this is a good time for everyone to refresh their school bus safety knowledge. Please slow down, stay alert, and be prepared to stop when a school bus displays flashing red lights and extends its stop arm. The graphic shows when drivers traveling in each direction must stop. Let’s work together to keep area students safe!

The Blair School Foundation is hosting the 4th annual Family Fun Night, Friday, August 21 starting at 5pm at Blair High School. Food, music, Volleyball and Football scrimmages at 5:30 and 7. Dance, Cheer, and Cross Country will all be on hand to kick off the start of the 2026-27 school year. All are invited to attend this free event. Fort Calhoun Community School has updated their website to have the 2026-2027 Suggested Elementary Classroom Supply List. Their statement says “I know students are not ready for school to start quite yet, but the Elementary school supply list is ready to view on our website.” The School supply lists may be downloaded at fortcalhounschools.org under Elementary then School, Supplies
