The Blair Bear Football team heads out to face Scottsbluff tonight in the second round of the NSAA State Football Playoffs. The game starts at 8 pm central time (7 pm Mountain). The Bears, with a 9-1 season, have battled to prove their strength and endurance with their only loss early in the season to Skutt Catholic.

Last week the Bears hosted Round 1 at home vs McCook with a 17-14 win. Today they face a team that has the same record as the Bears with only one loss against Grand Island Northwest in overtime. In regular season, both teams defeated Gross Catholic and both teams have defeated McCook.

This will prove to be a great game for the Bears to ready themselves for the next round. The winner of this game will face either Waverly or Gretna East. If Waverly wins their game, then the winner of The Bears vs Bearcats will host the next round. If Gretna East wins, they will host the winner of the Blair-Scottsbluff game. The Bears are looking for victory and only 2 games away from going to Memorial Stadium on Tuesday, November 24th at 7:15 pm for the NSAA Nebraska Class B Championship.

If you are not able to make the trip, Blair Radio/BSDNLive.com will be there covering the game for you as Ryan Palmer and Kelly Johnson will bring you the video and audio streams.
