Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:
The Christian Book Club meets every third Monday, which is today – 7pm at 750 Angel’s Share Drive
The Tuesday Prayer Group meets at 6pm at Remnant Church 1529 Front Street
Warriors Hope Veterans Ministry which usually meets on Tuesday will be meeting this Thursday evening, 7pm at the Living Hope Assembly of God Church.
The Midweek Meal at First Lutheran Church is every Wednsday from 5:30 to 6:15. A free will donation is appreciated.
The Women’s Mission Circle at First Baptist Church of Blair is kicking off a series entitled “Women Warriors” The speaker this Thursday evening is Patty Riddle of the Women United Ministry. It starts at 6:30, refreshments will be served and you do not have to be a member to participate.
Retro Blair Community Group – for those aged 50 and above, meets Friday Mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 at Reach Church – and is open to the entire community
Camp Fontenelle’s next Spring Service Day is April 26th, at 9am. Outdoor and indoor tasks are available. If you would like to volunteer, call 402-478-4296
First Lutheran Church, instrumental in rendering aid to those impacted by last spring’s tornados in Washington County, is sponsoring a Celebration of Helping others on Saturday, April 26th at 1pm. Everyone is welcome
Christ Lutheran Church’s Women’s Conference is April 26th 10am to 2:30 pm, the cost is 30 dollars and includes all materials and lunch. Register online at christlutheranblair.org
Nebraska’s observance of the National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 1st, noon, at the state capitol.
