Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:
The National Day of Prayer is tomorrow, many will gather in Lincoln at noon for the commemoration, here in Blair, the National Day of Prayer will be from noon to 1pm at the Veterans Tribute Plaza at 13th and Washington. Prayers for the protection of our military, first responders and more will be offered by the Washington County Ministerial Association. The public is encouraged to participate.
First Lutheran’s Mid week meals are every Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30, 2146 Wright Street in Blair
Wednesday Bible Study at First Baptist Church in downtown Blair starts at 6:30
“For a Time Such as This” a portrayal of Esther by Natalee Ganyon will be presented at the Missouri River area Women’s Connection at 6:30 on May 13th. Tickets are ten dollars at the door to cover the catered meal. Reservations are required – call 402-426-7068
The Christian Cross Festival in Norfolk is Saturday, June 7th from 2pm to 11pm at Skyview Lake. Musicians, inspiring speakers and more are planned. You can find out more online at christiancrossfestival.org
Just a reminder that the National Peace Officers Memorial Day is Thursday, May 15th, 6:30pm. The walk starts at the Blair Police Department and goes to the Sheriff’s Department where a commemoration and ceremony is held
