Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:


A baked steak dinner with all the trimmings is at Kennard Methodist Church this Wednesday, 5:30 til 7 for a free will offering.


A free community meal is tomorrow, 5pm at the Saint Patrick Church Houdek Hall, 617 East Huron Street in Missouri Valley. Ham and scalloped potatoes and more will be served, everyone is welcome.


On this side of the river, the Midweek Meal at First Lutheran in Blair features Taco Chicken Casserole. To order delivery or pick up, volunteer or donate, call Erika at 402-426-4073 or go online to firstlutheranblair.org.


The Wednesday Bible Study at First Baptist Church of Blair is on Acts 27 and 28, tandem taught by Rev. Jim Erwin and Jay Anderson. It starts at 6:30 in fellowship hall at 205 South 18th Street in downtown Blair.


Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair is having their annual Pancakes and Jambalaya Event this coming Sunday from 11 to 1pm, all proceeds go to the Washington County Food Bank. Take out is available.


Fort Calhoun’s Presbyterian Church is having a Valentines Dinner and Dance on February 15th from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Miller Fellowship Hall. The Dinner is catered by Olive Garden. The event is a fundraiser for the Fort Calhoun Vacation Bible School fund. More information and registration is online at fcpchurch.com  Registration is due TODAY.


Additionally, Fort Calhoun Presbyterian is having a Blood Drive on February 15th 8am to 2pm as well. Visit RedCross.org to sign up.


First Lutheran Church of Blair is now collecting donations for the annual FLC Youth’s garage sale. Call 402-426-4073 for more information about donations.
