Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:

The Tuesday Prayer group is this evening, 6pm at Remnant Church, 1529 Front Street.

The Midweek Meal at First Lutheran Church, 2146 Wright Street is tomorrow at 5:30, a free will donation is appreciated. The entree is Creamy Chicken Casserole

First Baptist Church of Blair Wednesday Bible Study is at 6:30, Rev. Jim Erwin will be teaching from Acts 16 and 17. First Baptist Church is located at 205 South 18th Street.

Donations are sought to help the Pack the Park School Backpack program. Fifty dollars will cover the cost of one school supply kit, a pair of New Balance shoes and a pair of socks. You can find donation information on the Reach Church or Pack the Park social media.

Modale’s United Methodist Church is having the Hero Hotline Vacation Bible School Friday, June 27th starting at 8:30 with check in and Breakfast, it runs til noon. More information can be found online at movalleymodaleumc.org.

First Lutheran and First United Methodist Churches are hosting a joint Vacation Bible School July 14th through the 18th from 9am to noon for children potty trained through 5th grade. A Lunch will be served at noon to all families for a free will donation. More information can be found online at firstlutheranblair.org

What was Christian education and confirmation like in Denmark during the 1700’s? Reverend Brian Lunn will speak on the topic at the Danish American Archive and Library on July 25th, at 9:30 am at 1738 Washington Street in Blair
