City of Tekamah

City of Tekamah sent out a reminder that motorized vehicles are not authorized within the grass areas of the city parks. This would include golf carts, side by sides, 4 wheeler and motorcycles.

This reminder came out after damage to a park was found by vehicle tracks that tore up grass. This is especially noticeable with the wet conditions leaving the ground more susceptible to tire damage. Repairing damage takes time and equipment which both are funded by tax payers
