HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

Tomorrow is the Roots to Wings Holiday Open House at 220 North Third Street in Arlington from 9am to 3pm. A cocoa bar and treats will be available for those who shop and support the farmers and local artisans.

Also this Saturday – the Polar Express in Missouri Valley at the city park.

Blair Schools and SixPence is having a diaper drive now through December 12th. Diapers sized newborn to 6 years, Pull Ups and Baby wipes are needed, you can drop off donations at the Blair Public Library, South Pre-school, the Chamber of Commerce office and at the Washington County Bank. Details can be found on the Blair Radio Facebook page.

The Christmas for the Coat Drive Through event is Wednesday, December 10th from 6:30 am to 9am. Tickets are ten dollars. All proceeds go to the Washington County Food Pantry.

Soup with Santa is December 13th from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Fort Calhoun Fire Station

If you have items you suspect may contain lead, such as decorative dishes, children’s toys, ceramics and more, the Three Rivers Public Health Department will test those items from 9am to 7pm on Wednesday, December 17th at 2400 North Lincoln Avenue in Fremont.
