
HERE’S WHATS HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…
This Saturday is the Blair Volunteer Firefighters Auxiliary’s Spring Craft Show, 11am to 3pm at the South Fire Station – 218 South 16th street in Blair
Arlington High School will present Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” starting Friday, March 21st starting at 7pm, another performance Saturday, March 22nd at 2pm and the final performance is Sunday, March 23rd at 7pm – all at the Arlington High School Gym. Admission is 12 dollars for adults, eight for students and seniors.
Three scholarships from the Blair Optimist Club are available for area seniors – more information can be found at your school’s guidance counselor’s office
The MCH Auxiliary’s Ladies Quarter Mania Night Out is Friday, February 28th at the American Legion – preview shopping is at 6, the event starts at 7. Entry for this fundraiser is 20 dollars. Proceeds go to medical scholarships.
A Fundraising Trivia Night to benefit the Blair Bear’s Backers is Saturday, March 1st at Saint Francis Borgia Catholic Church. The event includes Dinner, trivia and more. You may want to consider dinner out on Monday, March 3rd...A fundraiser for the Blair Middle School Music Program will have 10 percent of the sales from 5 to 8pm at Blair’s Runza restaurant going to the program.
A fundraiser for the Blair Art Alley Project – Dueling Pianos is Friday March 28th, it will be at the former Dana College gym. The event is $40 dollars per ticket. More details are forthcoming as the date approaches.
