HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…


(CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER) Golden Kernel Classic is coming up on Thursday, June 4, from 5:30-8pm at Lion’s Park. There will be live music, food trucks, and fun. Proceeds will go to the Washington County Food Pantry.


(CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER) Art Alley Block Party is happening on June 4 from 5-9pm during the kickoff of the Gateway to the West Days. There will be cornhole, music, and a food truck. Free for anyone 21 years old and older.


The Blair Area Community Band is performing on June 4 at 7pm at (MOVED TO OTTE MIDDLE SCHOOL DUE TO WEATHER).


June Jam, presenting On the Fritz, is on Friday, June 5, from 6-8pm at Generations Park.

18th Annual Car Show & Shine is on June 6 from 8am-noon at 17th & Lincoln Streets.

The Gateway to the West Days Parade is at 11am. This year's theme is Rooted in Community - Growing Forward Together.


Gateway to the West Water Fights are on June 6th at the South Fire Station. Kid water fights are at noon. Fire Department water fights are at 1pm.


Washington County Chamber Pickle Ball Tournament is on June 7 from 8am-6pm at Generations Park. Proceeds go to Teammates.


Fly-In Pancake Breakfast is on Sunday, June 7, from 7am-noon at the Tekamah Municipal Airport.


Fort Calhoun has a Thursday Night Concert coming up on June 11 from 6-9pm at Adams Street Plaza Park. There will be live music, food trucks, and fun for people of all ages.


A Rocket League Camp for grades 6-9 will be held Saturday, June 13, from 9 am - 4:30 pm at 310 Eastgate. A second camp for grades 9-12 will be held Saturday, June 27. More information can be found under Blair Radio Facebook events or at EastgateBlair.com.


Fort Calhoun Shred Day is coming up Saturday, June 13, from 10am-noon at Abiding Faith Baptist Church. This event provides a safe and secure way to protect your personal information by destroying sensitive and unwanted documents.
