HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

Memorial Community Hospital is having a lunch and learn on Tuesday, May 26, from noon- 1 pm in the Bagby/Gentry Conference Rooms. The topic is Nutrition as We Age: Eating healthy to prevent chronic disease.

Big Boy 4014 can be seen on May 27 from 10am-1pm at the Golden Spike Tower (1249 North Homestead Road, North Platte, NE).

Art Alley Block Party is happening on June 4 from 5-9pm during the kickoff of the Gateway to the West Days. There will be cornhole, music, and a food truck. Free for anyone 21 years old and older.

Golden Kernal Classic is coming up on Thursday, June 4, from 5:30-8pm at Lion’s Park. There will be live music, food trucks, and fun. Proceeds will go to the Washington County Food Pantry.

The Blair Area Community Band is performing on June 4 at 7pm at Lion’s Park.

18th Annual Car Show & Shine is on Saturday, June 6 from 8am-noon at 17th & Lincoln Streets.

The Gateway to the West Days Parade is at 11am. This year's theme is Rooted in Community - Growing Forward Together.

Gateway to the West Water fights are on June 6th at the South Fire Station.

Kid water fights are at noon. Fire Department water fights are at 1pm.

Washington County Chamber Pickle Ball Tournament is on Sunday, June 7 from 8am-6pm at Generations Park. Proceeds go Teammates.

Fly-In Pancake Breakfast is on Sunday, June 7, from 7am-noon at the Tekamah Municipal Airport.

A Rocket League Camp for grades 6-9 will be held Saturday, June 13, from 9 am - 4:30 pm at 310 Eastgate. A second camp for grades 9-12 will be held Saturday, June 27. More information can be found under Blair Radio Facebook events or at EastgateBlair.com.
