HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING IN OUR AREA…

It’s the Nebraska Pink Patch Project The Blair Police Department is selling Pink Patch Tee Shirts online at stores.inksoft.com.  Proceeds from the sale of the Pink Patch Shirts help support a number of Cancer Awareness organizations across the state. More details can be found on the Blair Police Department’s Facebook Page.

Mo Valley’s Knights of Columbus is having their annual Columbus Day Chicken Barbeque Dinner this coming Monday, October 13th from 4 to 8pm at Saint Patrick’s Church Hudek Center, 617 East Huron Street. The cost of this fundraising dinner is 15 dollars each.

A Dinner at Runza fundraiser for the Blair Animal Shelter is Tuesday, October 14 from 5 to 8pm at the Blair Runza. 10 percent of proceeds to to the Jeanette Hunt Animal Shelter.

The Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue Department’s annual pancake breakfast is Sunday, October 19th from 8am to noon, a free will donation will be accepted.
