32 year old Nathan Dietrich of Bennington, that’s the man who has been identified by the state fire marshal as the fatality in the fire at Heartland Farms last week.
Dietrich died of smoke inhalation during that blaze near 225th Street and Dutch Hall Road.
A firefighter was transported to an Omaha hospital with burns, but has since been released. Nine horses were killed, other animals were injured in that fire.
The state fire marshal says the cause of that fire appears to be accidental.
