A vehicle stolen out of Pottawattamie County was found near 335th and Quimby, nearby witnesses described the person who got out of the vehicle, who was found walking further down the street. The Council Bluffs man was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. Other incidents from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Report for June 13th through the 22nd include a report of bank account fraud and social media compromises to a county resident’s accounts. A resident of Mondamin paid a utility bill with counterfeit money, when contacted, that person repaid the bill with cash and was charged with 5th degree theft. The Harrison County Sheriff’s office was also one of the responding agencies to the multiple fatality truck-motorcycle accident last weekend.
