Barbara Costello Welchert (March 27, 1959 – June 10, 2025) of Nickerson passed away June 10th. She is remembered by her husband, Larry Welchert and their children Bill, Lisa Jordan, Joe, David, Sarah Welchert, Tim, her siblings Bob Costello, Dick Costello, Jean Welchert, Tom, and Ed and their families. Jerry Taylor (Dec. 6, 1942-May 2, 2025) of Seattle, Washington, formerly of Fort Calhoun, passed away May 2nd. He is remembered by his wife, Rita, and son Trevor, along with his brothers and sisters. The Memorial Service is tomorrow, 2pm at Abiding Faith Baptist Church of Fort Calhoun. Inurnment will be at the Omaha National Cemetery.

73 year old Mary Jane Baxter Watts, of Modale passed away May 3rd. She is survived by her children, Shawn, Chris and Sahra Watts and their families. The Celebration of Life is Saturday, June 28th at the Missouri Valley Eagles Club from 3 to 6pm.
