SEATBELT USAGE DROPS IN WASHINGTON COUNTY
86 percent of Washington County drivers used their seatbelts last year according to the Washington County sheriff’s office. This spring, however, that number has dropped to 78 percent.
A grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation will allow the county to participate in the “Click it or Ticket” campaign starting May 24th.
Blair Police, the Dodge County Sheriff’s office, the Monona County Sheriff’s office in Iowa and the Nebraska State Patrol are among those also participating.
