Washington County Sheriff's Report 07.19.21.


A vehicle going north in the southbound lane of Highway 133 late Saturday evening was stopped by the Washington County Sheriff’s office near American Eagle Lane. The driver was lost and looking to go to Nickerson. Deputies say no impairment was evident and gave directions to the driver.


Also on Sheriff Mike Robinson’s report just released this morning, A driver early Saturday morning swerved to avoid hitting a deer on highway 75 and ended up hitting a tree. The driver suffered cuts and wounds to the face and head and was transported to the Blair emergency room.


A 33 year old male was arrested for their third incident of domestic assault in the 4700 block of Lakeland.


A rear end collision involving two semi’s in Herman and one of the drivers was cited for following too close.


An abandoned vehicle in the ten thousand block of Dutch Hall Road was found to be stolen, and among many other incidents, horses were out on Highway 75 near County Road 37 and were corralled back into their enclosure.
