A vehicle crashed into a power pole near County Roads p-15 and 38 late Saturday night, injures are noted on the report from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office – and drunk driving charges are pending.
Also on that summary, possible mail theft in the 2500 block of Blue Bird Lane, a situation of horses loose in the 2700 block of highway 75 and cows out of their enclosure at County roads 18 and 25.
One matter, Friday evening – a pursuit after a traffic stop at Highway 30 and County road p-7, with speeds up to 77 miles per hour, the driver parked in their garage and shut the door. Sheriff Mike Robinson notes in his summary that the subject was cited and released to a relative and that dementia may be a factor.
