Washington County Gives

The 10th annual Washington County Gives campaign is right around the corner!

On Tuesday, December 1, Washington County residents, businesses and families will once again have the opportunity to come together to support the outstanding nonprofit organizations that help make Washington County such a special place to call home. Held each year on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Washington County Gives is a day dedicated to celebrating generosity and shining a spotlight on the many organizations working to strengthen our communities.

Last year’s campaign raised an impressive $320,136, benefiting numerous local nonprofits and helping them continue their important work throughout Washington

County. This year, the Washington County Community Foundation (WCCF) invites individuals, families and businesses to participate once again and experience the impact of giving locally. Donations can be made online at washcocommfoundation.org or in person at 1615 Washington Street in Blair.

The deadline to register online is Friday, November 13. If you need assistance signing up, the Foundation will host an in-person registration/help day at its office. Stop by on Monday, October 26 or Wednesday, October 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and we will be happy to help you through the process.

For questions about participating or donating, follow Washington County Gives on Facebook or email wcnegives@gmail.com.

WCCF looks forward to another successful Washington County Gives campaign and appreciates the continued generosity of Washington County residents.
