FIVE RESPONSES MONDAY DEALT WITH BY BLAIR VFD     Calls to the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue department yesterday include responding to a sick person just before 3am, a seizure just after 8am, a person hurt in a fall at 8:22am, at 4:57 yesterday afternoon, a vehicle fire was called in with dual response with Herman’s Fire Department and at 5:44 yesterday evening, a rescue call for a person having trouble breathing.

WEEKEND ACTIVITY REPORT FOR BLAIR VFD      Calls to the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue department over the weekend include an unconscious person, a seizure, a medical alert alarm, a car accident in which a person was pinned in the wreckage, a possible stroke, two people injured in separate incidents involving falls, chest pain a person having difficulty breathing and a sick party call.

A special meeting of the Missouri Valley City Council is today at 11am in the City Hall Conference Room. The council is meeting with Schemmer And Associates and Rogge General Contractors for an update on the Fire Hall Apparatus Bay Construction and a discussion on the gear dryer and discuss reasons for a change order on that equipment.
