The Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue 4th of July Weekend Calls for Service Recap: It was a busy Independence Day weekend for BVFD! Along with responding to 8 calls for service (6 medical and 2 fire-related), members were active throughout the community celebrating the holiday. Another busy month is in the books for the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue. In June, their volunteers responded to 108 calls for service, bringing our 2026 total to 673 calls. Along the way, members dedicated more than 70 hours to emergency responses while continuing to train, maintain equipment, and serve the community in countless other ways.
