Blair Fire Department Summary
FOUR NEW MEMBERS, CALLS OVER THE WEEKEND FOR BLAIR VOLUNTEER FIRE & RESCUE    Calls to the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department from November 7th through the 9th include two mutual aid to Kennard incidents, An injured party, four calls for people injured during falls, an automatic fire detection signal, and a medical nature unknown call.   Four new members to the Blair Fire Department are expected to be approved at tomorrow night’s Blair City Council meeting.

Washington County Sheriff's Summary
DEER ARE ON THE MOVE - ON AREA ROADWAYS!    Several Vehicle-Deer Collisions are on the Washington County Sheriff’s Activity Summary for this past week – at Highway 133 and Quail Ridge, County Road p-32 and Old Oak Lane, County Road 19 and Dutch Hall Road, Highway 133 and County Road p-26, another at Highway 133 and County Road 34. GRANT FUNDED EQUIPMENT TO HELP BLAIR POLICE DEPARTMENT
Electronic citation and electronic crash equipment will be coming soon to the Blair Police Department.    The Nebraska Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Office provided over twelve hundred dollars for the equipment.   The equipment will help the department to better track citation and crash information.
