The City of Missouri Valley repaired a water main at the intersection of 7th Street and Erie Street yesterday morning, Tuesday, July 28. Residents and businesses in the surrounding area experienced temporary interruptions in water service or reduced water pressure while repairs were underway. Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible and minimize disruptions. At the completion of the repairs status was indicated that no service with interrupted.

The City of Missouri Valley reports that due to an equipment failure, PeopleService has not been able to gather the meter readings needed to issue water bills. They are waiting on a loaner and will work to get the readings as soon as possible. During this time, there will be no late fees or disconnects. For those that had missing accounts, most have been added into the system so if you'd like to make a payment, the City of Missouri Valley can accept cash or check and apply it
