SHERIFF'S REPORT JUNE 8th The Washington County Sheriffs Office reported that they had 85 items to report on the e-patrol reports from June 1st through the 7th. The Washington County Sheriff's Office has completed it's part in the "Make It Click" seat-belt mobilization. Surveys before and after the campaign showed they had a 20% increase in seat-belt usage. They had 4 deputies work 42 hours making contact with 57 drivers. During these contacts 29 citations were issued, 16 of those were for speeding. One person was arrested for DUI-alcohol and had an active warrant for their arrest. One mother was cited for child passenger safety seat
