ILLEGAL BURN, MEDICAL CALLS ON BLAIR VFD SUMMARY

A possible fire in the trees and response to a call regarding a stroke are on the activity summaries for the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department from May 23rd through May 28th. An illegal burn mutual aided by Arlington, chest pain, an injury from a fall, a personal injury accident responded to by Fort Calhoun’s Fire and Rescue, a chicken coop on fire, a few calls for medical nature unknown and a possible fire in the trees are also on those reports.

And, speaking of smoke, we will be seeing smoke drifting into the area today, causing some haze and possible bad air quality issues. That smoke from several wildfires in Canada may be with us for a few days. If you’re sensitive to smoke, you may want to stay indoors if possible.
