Here’s what’s happening in the Blair area Faith Community:

It’s the first Monday of the month. That means the Community Prayer Network meets tonight at 7pm at the Blair Healing Rooms, 750 Angel Share Drive.

Reach Church’s Kids Tekamah Pool Party is Saturday, August 9th from 10am to noon at the Tekamah Pool

The Missouri River Area Women’s Connection is Tuesday, August 12th at Mo Valley’s Saint Paul Lutheran Church at 6:30 pm. The speaker is Julie Couch of Norfolk, who will discuss music therapy and will sing. Tickets are ten dollars at the door and includes a catered meal. Reservations are required – call 402-426-7068

Faith Fest, a free event with live music is Friday, August 15th from 5pm to 10pm at Saint John’s Church back yard, 1300 West Benjamin Avenue in Norfolk. You do need to bring your own lawn chair or blanket. The evening features worship, fellowship, kid’s inflatables and concessions. More information can be found on Facebook at Faithfest 316.

Joseph’s Coat Thrift Store and the Washington County Food Pantry are now open on Wednesdays. Donations of gently used household items are always needed – monies generated by the Thrift store go directly to the Washington County Food Pantry. Reach church has a weekly prayer night Every Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 in the evening, no registration is needed.
